For the past 15 years, she served as the founder, owner and managing attorney of a thriving workers’ compensation law firm, where she built the practice from the ground up into one of California’s respected firms in its field. In that role, she oversaw every aspect of operations—litigation strategy, client service, business development, and team leadership—while consistently delivering results for thousands of injured workers.

As COO of Sweet James, Emily will oversee all operational areas of the firm and lead the transformation of the client experience—from the very first call through final resolution—ensuring a seamless, compassionate, and client-centered journey. Her proven track record in scaling operations, streamlining processes, and building high-performing teams positions her as a key driver of the firm’s next phase of growth.
