57-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Head-On Collision near Miguel Bustamante Parkway

COLTON, CA (March 27, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, a DUI crash on South Riverside Avenue claimed the life of Gregory McDonald

Around 2:30 a.m., police responded to the 4000 block of South Riverside Avenue near Miguel Bustamante Parkway.

According to reports, the driver of a northbound Ford F-150 pickup-truck struck a guardrail. The Ford then swerved into the oncoming lanes where it collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota Echo.

First responders declared the Toyota driver dead at the scene. Officials later identified the deceased driver as 57-year-old Gregory McDonald, of Moreno Valley. 

Meanwhile, the officers arrested the Ford driver – identified as 27-year-old Marcus Fiorillo of Banning – for DUI. Fiorillo was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga for gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. 

Rialto Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal DUI crash to contact Traffic Sergeant Dan Smith by email or at 909-644-6025.
