Female Cyclist Fatally Struck in Motorcycle vs Bicycle Accident near Latimer Avenue

SAN JOSE, CA (March 26, 2024) – Thursday evening, one woman was pronounced dead after a bicycle collision on Hamilton Avenue.

Authorities responded to the scene at the 4400 block of Hamilton Avenue around 6:43 p.m., near Latimer Avenue. 

Upon arrival, officers learned that an eastbound 2018 black Kawasaki Ninja collided with a northbound female bicyclist on Hamilton. According to reports, the cyclist was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk. 

Responding medical personnel transported the woman riding the bicycle to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. 

At this time, police officers have not yet released her name or place of residency.
