38-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Rio Linda Boulevard

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 26, 2024) – Saturday night, a male rider was killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Ephesus Avenue. 

The incident occurred around 9:19 p.m., near Rio Linda Boulevard.

Officers determined that an unidentified vehicle hit the male motorcyclist and immediately fled the scene. Paramedics arrived and transported the 38-year-old man to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the identity of the deceased rider has not been disclosed to the public. Additionally, police have not released any additional information regarding the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. 

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
