19-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Fiery Multi-Vehicle Collision near 67th Avenue

PHOENIX, AZ (March 11, 2024) – Early Thursday afternoon, David Juarez was killed in a multi-car accident on Fillmore Street.

Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 1:00 p.m., near 67th Avenue on February 29th.

For reasons under investigation, 19-year-old Juarez was driving a vehicle and crashed into multiple parked cars. Upon impact, the vehicle became engulfed in flames.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics later pronounced Juarez deceased.

Meanwhile, the passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital.
