Rollover Accident near McCarran Boulevard Resulted in One Fatality, Two Injuries

RENO, NV (January 23, 2024) – Late Sunday evening, police responded to a fatal rollover crash on Leadership Parkway.

On January 14th, at around 10:45 p.m., the Reno Police Department received a call about a deadly crash near McCarran Boulevard.

Upon investigation, the authorities learned that a vehicle occupied by five people was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned several times.

Furthermore, three people were ejected from the vehicle. Two people suffered serious injuries and responders transported them to the hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, one person died at the scene. Authorities have to disclose the identities of those involved.

Moreover, the authorities said that speed was the contributing factor to the crash, and further investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses are urged to call the RPD at 775-334-2677 or the Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
