Two Fatally Struck in Big-Rig Accident near American Legion Road

TYLER, TX (December 21, 2023) – Wednesday, two victims sustained fatal injuries in a semi-truck collision on Loop 323.

At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that an 18-wheeler and a passenger vehicle collided near American Legion Road.

Emergency medical personnel arrived and pronounced two occupants inside the passenger vehicle dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.

Crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
