Motorcycle Collision on Sandra Road Left 60-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 14, 2023) – On Saturday, a motorcyclist received life-threatening injuries following a motorcycle crash on Nellis Boulevard.
According to police, the incident happened around 4:10 p.m., at Nellis Boulevard north of Sandra Road.
According to reports, a 2003 Suzuki GSC-R750 motorbike attempted to slow down as it approached a 2013 Toyota Odyssey minivan that was decreasing speed for traffic on Nellis Boulevard, north of Sandra Road.
Overspeeding, the motorcyclist crashed into the back of the minivan after flipping over on the slippery road.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene shortly after and transported the rider to a local hospital for treatment.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. An active investigation to determine further information about the fatal collision on Nellis Boulevard is still currently underway.
