One Person Seriously Hurt after a Reckless Car Accident
RENO, NV (September 8, 2023) – Late Sunday morning, police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Veterans Parkway.
On August 27th, at around 11:50 a.m., troopers arrived at the scene and found two people injured as a result of the collision.
Furthermore, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office stated upon investigation that a vehicle headed northbound crashed into a center median and went to the opposite lanes.
Consequently, the first responders transported the two people to the hospital where one with serious wounds. Both of them were listed as stable.
Meanwhile, both lanes of Veterans Parkway from Greg Street to Pembroke Lane were blocked for a couple of hours until it was reopened. Additional information will be updated by local authorities.
Moreover, the authorities have yet to determine the cause of the incident, and further investigation is still underway.
