Man Injured after a Vehicle-Bicycle Collision

BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 4, 2023) – Thursday night, one victim sustained injuries in a bicycle collision on Airport Drive.

The incident happened on April 20th, just before 9:00 p.m., near Norris Road, involving multiple bicyclists and a vehicle.

According to reports, a white truck was traveling in the southbound lanes near a group of cyclists. There, the truck switched lanes to advance on the lane and went back and collided with the cyclist, leaving him with serious injuries.

First responders arrived to the site of the collision to aid the situation. From there, paramedics transported the cyclist to a local hospital for treatment.
