Vehicle Accident on Glendale Avenue Left One Fatality

GLENDALE, AZ (March 17, 2023) – Monday night, a pedestrian crash on Dysart Road left one person dead, police said.

The incident happened on March 13th at around 8:00 p.m. when officers received a report about a pedestrian accident in the West Valley.

Upon arriving, officers located the pedestrian and pronounced them dead at the scene due to their injuries.

Furthermore, investigators have learned that the pedestrian was in the middle of the highway for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Consequently, the northbound and southbound lanes of Dysart Road from Glendale Avenue to Ocotillo Road were blocked during the incident.

Following the crash, the officers stated that neither speed, alcohol, nor drugs were a factor in the incident.

The identity of the deceased was not yet determined and further investigation is still underway.
