48-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision on Central Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 5, 2022) – Late Sunday night, Tony Hernandez was fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on 89th Street.

Authorities responded to the scene around 10:22 p.m., near Central Avenue on November 27th.

Per reports, the driver of a northbound vehicle struck Hernandez as he was walking westbound across Central Avenue. Upon impact, the driver immediately fled the area.

Medics arrived and pronounced 48-year-old Hernandez dead at the scene.
