Several Injured in Auto Accident near Milepost 175

WILLIAMS, AZ (November 23, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, three people were hospitalized after a 17-vehicle crash on Interstate 40.

Authorities responded to the scene around 1:00 p.m., near mile post 175 on November 3rd.

For reasons unknown, 17 vehicles, including several semi-trucks crashed on the eastbound lanes of I-40. The accident left several people injured.

Emergency crews arrived and treated multiple victims at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported three victims to Flagstaff Medical Center for further treatment of serious injuries.

Following the collision, officials closed down the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 40 to perform cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, further details will be provided.
