Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Mira Loma Drive
RENO, NV (November 7, 2022) – Early Monday evening, a man was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on McCarran Boulevard.
The collision happened on October 24th, at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of McCarran Boulevard near Mira Loma Drive.
According to Nevada State Troopers, the pedestrian was walking in the area when, for reasons currently unknown, he was struck by a vehicle.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and rushed the man to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, officials reported that the man died from his injuries after one day in the hospital. At this time authorities are withholding the identity of the deceased victim.
Meanwhile, the driver of the involved vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
