Intersection Collision on Newport Road Left Three Casualties
MENIFEE, CA (September 30, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, three people were injured in a two-car crash on Murphy Ranch Road.
The collision occurred around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of Murphy Ranch and Newport roads.
According to the responding fire officials, crews located one victim trapped in the wreckage. The extraction of patients was successfully finished within 20 minutes.
Two people involved in the incident sustained significant injuries, while a third victim received minor injuries. Paramedics transported all three to a nearby trauma center for immediate treatment.
At this time, authorities partially shut down the intersection as crews cleared the scene. The identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public.
