One Dead after Semi-Truck Accident on Boyce Road

FREMONT, CA (September 30, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one victim was killed in a big-rig crash on Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road.

Police responded to the scene around 4:15 a.m., on September 26th.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a westbound vehicle with three occupants struck a northbound big-rig that was hauling a tanker. The impact of the collision caused at least one person from the passenger vehicle to sustain serious injuries.

First responders arrived and pronounced the severely injured victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the driver of the tanker truck was remained injured. Officers say he stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
