Norvell Frierson Pronounced Dead after Rollover Accident on 20th Street [Lancaster, CA]
42-Year-Old Driver Killed in Rollover Accident near Avenue H
LANCASTER, CA (September 23, 2022) – Early Monday, Norvell Frierson was pronounced dead after a rollover accident on 20th Street.
The crash happened along 20th Street West and Avenue H around 1:27 a.m., on September 5th.
According to reports, Frierson was driving north on 20th Street when the road changed from pavement to dirt, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and flip.
Responding paramedics pronounced Frierson, a 42-year-old Lancaster resident, dead on the scene.
Meanwhile, other rescue workers transported the unidentified passenger to a hospital with injuries that are reported to not be life threatening.
According to witnesses, two vehicles were racing at the time of the crash; however, authorities have not confirmed this. Lancaster police officials continue to investigate the fatal crash and will release updates once they become available.
