Car Accident near Thunderbird Road Left One Fatality
EL MIRAGE, AZ (September 12, 2022) – Saturday night, a car crash near Dysart Road left one person dead and two hurt, police said.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m., near Thunderbird Road on September 3rd. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.
Video footage from the scene showed that a vehicle crashed into a traffic pole. Following preliminary investigations, police believe the driver may not have stopped for a traffic light and consequently struck the traffic pole.
Eventually, paramedics arrived and declared one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities transported two other injured victims to a nearby hospital with serious wounds.
Furthermore, the identity of the deceased was not yet released, pending notification of next of kin. At this time, the cause of the deadly crash near Dysart Road is still under active investigation.
