Three Injured in Rollover Accident on State Route 51 [Phoenix, AZ]

Traffic Collision near Bell Road Left Several Hurt

PHOENIX, AZ (August 11, 2022) – Police responded to a rollover accident on State Route 51 that left three people with injuries Saturday noon.

The incident happened on August 6th involving a truck and at least one other unidentified vehicle, according to initial reports.

Officers responded to the crash and found the truck overturned in the roadway.

Furthermore, emergency crews reported at least three people suffered minor to moderate injuries. One person required extrication and was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, two other injured victims received treatment at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital, according to police.

Two southbound lanes were blocked following the crash but reopened later at around 1:15 p.m. Further investigations underway.
