Traffic Accident on Interstate 215 Left One Fatality

PERRIS, CA (May 20, 2022) – On Tuesday morning, a vehicle crash on Interstate 215 left one unidentified man dead, police said.

Authorities said the man was hit by a car while working on the shoulder of a box truck on Interstate 215.

Moreover, the investigation revealed that the victim was trying to secure the hood latch on the driver’s side of their box truck, when a Toyota Tacoma collided with them for reasons unknown.

Furthermore, emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the man who was working on the truck dead.

Meanwhile, both the suspect and the victim’s companion sustained no injuries.

Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Also, the suspect was questioned by authorities but not yet arrested. An active investigation into the crash is currently underway.
