One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 71 Freeway [Pomona, CA]
Traffic Accident on 60 Freeway Left One Fatality
POMONA, CA (May 19, 2022) – A motorcycle crash 71 freeway claimed the life of one rider Tuesday morning, police said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:11 a.m. when a motorcycle collided with a sedan for reasons currently unknown.
As a result, the rider landed in the No. 2 lane, leaving them with critical injuries. Furthermore, paramedics arrived and pronounced the unidentified rider dead at the scene.
Eventually, authorities issued a SigAlert in the area while they investigated the incident.
At this time, an active investigation into the fatal motorcycle accident along the 71 Freeway is currently underway.
