One Victim Injured in Auto Collision on State Route 118
CHATSWORTH, CA (May 13, 2022) – A car crash on Topanga Canyon Boulevard left one person hospitalized, Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 9:49 a.m. on the southbound Topanga Canyon Boulevard, south of State Route 118.
Upon arrival, police discovered the two wrecked cars blocking the roadway, causing traffic on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Investigators later revealed that a gray Toyota Avalon collided with another car for currently unknown reasons.
Due to the impact of the collision, emergency personnel transported one person to a hospital for minor injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Meanwhile, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
Chatsworth Officials are working closely to identify the circumstances surrounding the car crash on Topanga Canyon Boulevard near State Route 118.
