Stephen Fernandez Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Fain Road [Prescott Valley, AZ]

Traffic Accident on Highway 69 Left One Fatality

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (May 2, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Stephen Fernandez died in a pedestrian crash on Fain Road, police said.

The traffic accident occurred east of Fain Road, along Highway 69, according to reports.

Furthermore, paramedics and emergency crews immediately responded to the scene upon receiving the report about the collision involving a pedestrian and a delivery truck.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered 64-year-old Fernandez who pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries sustained.

Moreover, the driver of the delivery truck was not injured and stopped after the collision to cooperate with authorities.

The cause of the incident has yet to be identified; however, an active investigation is currently underway.
