1 Pronounced Dead after Multi-Car Collision near Yolanda Avenue

SANTA ROSA, CA (April 7, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, one person was pronounced dead after a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 101.

Around 1:59 a.m., the incident happened on U.S. Highway 101, near the Yolanda Avenue off-ramp.

Investigators say the crash involved multiple vehicles. However, the events leading up remain unknown.

Paramedics pronounced one occupant from inside a vehicle dead at the scene at 2:12 a.m. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Furthermore, officers diverted the northbound traffic at Yolanda Avenue as they investigated the crash scene. Eventually, the California Highway Patrol reopened the northbound lanes of the highway around 3:52 a.m.
