86-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Puente Avenue
BALDWIN PARK, CA (March 31, 2022) – Thursday morning, 86-year-old Zifeng Lu was killed in a pedestrian crash on Pacific Avenue.
According to police, the fatal incident happened around 6:28 a.m., near the intersection of Pacific and Puente Avenue.
Reports revealed that a motorcyclist struck an elderly woman while she was walking within a marked crosswalk. Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced the pedestrian, Lu, dead at the scene.
Following preliminary investigations, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a factor. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
