Motorcycle Rider Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Pacific Beach Drive

SAN DIEGO, CA (March 8, 2022) – Sunday evening, a motorcyclist was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident on Mission Boulevard.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 6:53 p.m., after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

According to reports, a motorcyclist was heading south on Mission Boulevard and traveled through the green light at the intersection. Meanwhile, a northbound Honda Civic was attempting to make a left turn onto Pacific Beach Drive.

There, the the motorcycle and the Honda collided under unknown circumstances. First responders arrived to the 4100 block of Mission Boulevard shortly after.

Medics transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, it was not known if the Civic driver was injured. However, an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
