Pedestrian Crash on Camino Santa Fe near Marimar Road Left 77-Year-Old Man Dead

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 23, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Camino Santa Fe claimed the life of elderly man Wednesday afternoon.

According to the authorities, a vehicle struck the man crossing the 8100 block of the Camino Santa Fe around 5:30 p.m.

Eventually, paramedics transported the 77-year-old victim to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities described the driver of the involved vehicle as a 63-year-old man.

San Diego Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
