Hector Castro Loaeza Arrested for Hit-and-Run on Fifth Street [Victorville, CA]
Hit-and-Run on Fifth Street near C Street Left 15-Year-Old on Bicycle Dead
VICTORVILLE, CA (December 15, 2021) – Police arrested Hector Castro Loaeza after a hit-and-run that killed a teenager Monday afternoon.
The fatal incident occurred around 2:01 p.m. on Fifth Street near C Street in old town.
Eventually, the responding deputies determined that a southbound vehicle on Fifth Street struck the 15-year-old traveling west on C Street.
Afterwards, paramedics arrived at the scene. They immediately transported the victim to a local hospital. Eventually, the victim succumbed to his injuries around 3:19 p.m.
Later on, authorities identified and arrested the 29-year-old Hector Castro Loaeza for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
In the end, officials booked Castro Loaeza in High Desert Detention Center while Fifth and C Street remained closed for several hours.
The incident is still being investigated at this time.
