Five-Vehicle Collision near Camelback Road Left Two Women Injured

GLENDALE, AZ (December 13, 2021) – One woman sustained serious injuries while another one was also hurt following a crash near 51st Avenue Wednesday night.

According to authorities, the multi-vehicle crash occurred near the area of 51st Avenue and Camelback Road.

Paramedics immediately responded on the scene after receiving reports of an accident. However, the events leading up to the collision are still unclear.

Per reports, one woman was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Furthermore, paramedics transported another woman to a hospital for precautionary reasons.

Currently, authorities have kept the identity of the victims private. According to police, impairment is not considered to be a potential factor.

Authorities closed Camelback Road in both directions during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened. At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway.
