58-Year-Old Man Struck and Killed near River Park Way in Red Bluff

RED BLUFF, CA (December 10,2021) – A 58-year-old man lost his life early Saturday morning, in a pedestrian collision on Main Street.

Officers arrived to the intersection near River Park Way around 5:10 a.m., after receiving reports of a deadly pedestrian crash.

First responders arrived and located a 58-year-old man lying motionless in the roadway near the involved vehicle. Medics pronounced the male pedestrian dead on scene.

Officers say the driver was heading north on Main Street when the man crossed the road near River Park Way.

At this time, the name of the pedestrian and the driver are being withheld until the next-of-kin has been notified.
