Male Driver Killed in Rollover Crash on Timothy Drive [San Diego, CA]

69-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Accident on Pirotte Drive in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 7, 2021) – A rollover collision on Timothy Drive claimed the life of an elderly man Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:28 a.m., when a southbound 2010 Ford F-150 struck a black Honda sedan in the driveway of a home.

According to the investigators, the collision with a second parked vehicle caused the F-150 to rollover onto its passenger side. As a result, the impact ejected the driver partially through the passenger-side window.

Eventually, first responders arrived declared the 69-year-old male driver dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during preliminary duties, but has since reopened.

At this time, the San Diego Police Department traffic division is working to identify the circumstances surrounding the rollover crash. Once available, further details will be provided.
