BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 29, 2021) – A motorcycle crash on Interstate 5 claimed the life of William Alan Summers Friday morning.

The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m., on Interstate 5 near State Route 166. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, 73-year-old Summers was riding along the Interstate 5 on-ramp when he collided with a semi-tractor trailer under unclear circumstances.

Moreover, the responding paramedics located the rider dead at the scene. Meanwhile, authorities have yet to release the condition of the truck driver.
