Police Chase on Mission Hills near Golden State Ended in Crash

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 24, 2021) – A woman sustained injuries after police chase on Mission Hills ends into a crash on Tuesday.

The pursuit started around 5:41 p.m. when CHP received reports of a DUI driver around Oxnard near Mission Hills.

The 48-year-old female driver of the 2021 GMC Dinali pickup truck sped off and prompted a pursuit with the police.

As per reports, the chase continued on 5 Freeway just south of Broadway, when for reasons unknown, the GMC veered from the No. 1 lane into the No. 3 lane, rear-ending a semi-truck before crashing into the center divider.

Responding cops and rescuers assisted the GMC driver out of the car and performed CPR while waiting for help. Medics arrived and rushed the woman to the hospital.

At this time, officers have not released information of her current condition. Meanwhile, the truck driver did not sustain any injuries.

Moreover, CHP closed off the roadway for a few hours for clearing operations.
