Fatal Bicycle Collision near Thomas Road in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ (October 25, 2021) – A car crash on 18th Street claimed the life of one cyclist Thursday night, on October 14.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., near 18th Street and Thomas Road. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.
Police did not report if the driver remained at the site of the collision. Although, emergency crews declared the cyclist dead on the scene at the time of their arrival.
Additionally, authorities shut down both directions of the roadway for an extended period of time, but it has since been reopened. Also, authorities are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the bicycle crash.
