Nicole Parrott Dies in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 29 [Clear Lake, CA]

Pregnant Woman Killed in Head-On Accident near Park Way

CLEAR LAKE, CA (October 21, 2021) – Sunday night, Nicole Parrott and her unborn child were killed in a wrong-way crash on Highway 29.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 8:05 p.m., just south of Park Way shortly after receiving multiple calls.

Per reports, 34-year-old Jesse Andrew Maldnado was driving a 2019 Cadillac XTS south in the northbound lanes of the highway. Meanwhile, Parrott was driving a 2019 Nissan north on the highway when the two vehicles collided head-on.

Due to the impact of the collision, Parrott was ejected from the vehicle. Maldnado and Parrott were both pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition, Nicole Danielle Parrott was pregnant at the time, and the fetus was killed as well.

Officers later identified the two passengers inside the Nissan as 41-year-old Wade E. Wittman and a 16-year-old male.
