Arman Amjad Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Crash on Blue Diamond Road [Las Vegas, NV]

32-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Accident near Torrey Pines Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 15, 2021) – Arman Amjad was fatally struck in a deadly motorcycle crash on Blue Diamond Road, Tuesday night.

Per reports, officers received dispatch calls around 8:43 p.m., on October 12. Crews responded to the scene near Torrey Pines Drive shortly after.

Officers say a white tractor-trailer was heading west on Blue Diamond Road, attempting to turn south onto Torrey Pines Drive. Meanwhile, the rider of a Kawasaki sport bike was speeding eastbound on Blue Diamond.

For reasons unknown, the motorcyclist struck the rear axel of the truck. Due to the impact of the crash, medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Authorities responded and identified the deceased as 32-year-old Arman Amjad, who died of blunt force trauma.

Moreover, the eastbound lanes of Blue Diamond Road were closed during cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since reopened.
