Red-Light Runner Kills 26-Year-Old Hunter Dixon While Riding his Motorcycle
CHICO, CA (September 27, 2021) – Last Sunday, authorities arrested a red-light runner after they caused a collision that killed Hunter Dixon.
The fatal incident occurred on September 20th around 3:43 p.m. on 8th and Main Streets.
Upon further investigation, police determined that 18-year-old Pesiaune Finau drove through a red light into Dixon’s motorcycle.
As a result, Hunter Dixon sustained major injuries from the crash and unfortunately died on the scene.
At this time, the circumstance leading up to the fatal incident remain under active investigation.
Subsequently, another two individuals were injured due to the collision but their identity and condition is unknown at this time.
Police arrested Finau who is now facing vehicular manslaughter charges, more information will be released as it becomes available to the public.
