Deadly Wrong-Way Crash on 210 Freeway Kills One
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (September 20, 2021) – One person died and another one sustained injuries Sunday following a deadly wrong-way crash on 210 Freeway.
The tragic crash happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. around the northbound Route 259 interchange with the 210 Freeway.
As per reports, a wrong-way driver was heading southbound in the northbound lanes of the transition when they collided head-on with another vehicle.
Subsequently, a third car struck the two cars. As a result, one of the occupants of the vehicles died at the scene.
Meanwhile, medics took another person who sustained injuries to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, police have not released the identities of those involved and their condition.
Drugs or alcohol are not thought to have played a role in the crash, however, the cause of the wrong-way crash on 210 Freeway is still being investigated.
