28-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Collision near Hillcrest Avenue

ANTIOCH, CA (August 12, 2021) – Monday evening, 28-year-old Rosalind Kellum was fatally struck by a car on Highway 4 in Antioch.

Around 10:55 p.m., emergency crews responded to the scene near Hillcrest Avenue.

For reasons unknown, Kellum was sitting in the roadway’s slow lane. There, a black Audi was unable to swerve in time and struck her.

Paramedics arrived shortly after and pronounced Kellum dead at the scene.

Details about the driver involved remain unknown. However, an active investigation to determine further details is still ongoing.
