Motorcycle Crash in Lompoc Resulted to One Fatality
LOMPOC, CA (June 29, 2021) – Police are investigating the fatal crash in Lompoc that claimed the life of a Miguel Angel Salas last Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 2:50 p.m., near the intersection of Mission Gate and Purisima Road. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.
Per reports, the California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, the responders located the motorcyclist on the roadway suffering from serious injuries. The motorcyclist died at the scene and the officials later identified him as 26-year-old Miguel Angel Salas.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan claimed that the motorcyclist drove into the path in Purisima Road while attempting to turn left.
The Lompoc Police are investigating the factors that contributed to the fatal crash.
