Good Samaritan Rescues Woman from Fiery Crash on Culver Drive
IRVINE, CA (February 9, 2020) – A 26-year-old woman suffered injuries following a fiery crash on Culver Drive, early Sunday morning.
According to the Irvine Police Department, the incident happened at about 12:45 AM. An SUV reportedly ran a red light before crashing into a tree near Bryan Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the SUV to catch fire.
A Good Samaritan rushed to the SUV and found the woman unconscious inside. He, along with another bystander, pulled the woman out from the burning vehicle.
The woman suffered only minor injuries, and it is unknown whether or not she needed hospitalization. Police later arrested her on suspicion of DUI. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
