Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Two Cars on 255th Street and Normandie Avenue

 
HARBOR CITY, CA (November 19, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by two cars while he walked on 255th Street and Normandie Avenue in Harbor City on Sunday, November 17.
 
The collision happened at about 6:13 p.m. at 255th Street and Normandie Avenue, according to Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department.
 
The 62-year-old man moved westbound across Normandie when two southbound vehicles struck him, said Lomeli.
 
The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending notification of his loved ones.
 
Both drivers stayed at the scene to render assistance, Lomeli said. Whether the man crossed outside of a crosswalk was not yet determined.
 
Officers are still conducting their investigation about the incident.
