Driver Wanted after Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Florence Avenue
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 28, 2019) – A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Florence Avenue, Thursday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:10 AM. A pedestrian attempted to cross south on Florence Avenue when a westbound sedan hit him near Gramercy Place.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to a local hospital, where he later died. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and continued west on Florence Avenue. Witnesses described the vehicle as a small black 4-door sedan.
