Boron Fiery Rollover Crash at Twenty Mule Team Road and Wesley Road Turns Deadly
BORON, CA (May 22, 2020) – One person was killed following a fiery rollover crash Friday afternoon in Boron.
The crash happened around at 3:28 p.m. at the railroad tracks near the intersection of Twenty Mule Team Road and Wesley Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle had overturned several times, sheared off a pole and burst into flames. One occupant suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
CHP officials did not release the victim’s identity pending next of kin notification.
It is unknown if there were other occupants in the vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
