One Fatally Hurt after Phoenix Pedestrian Accident on 17 Freeway
PHOENIX, AZ (November 20, 2019) — One person died following a pedestrian accident on 17 Freeway in Phoenix on Monday, November 18.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the pedestrian walked the northbound lanes of 17 Freeway at Jomax Road. Then a vehicle struck the pedestrian.
DPS troopers stated that they have restricted all lanes except for the HOV lane.
Authorities are determining why the pedestrian was in the roadway. The age and sex of the victim are not immediately released as of now.
