Norris Lucky Fatally Injured after Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on Central Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 8, 2020) — Officers identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver as 32-year-old Norris Lucky.
According to the police, at around 4 a.m., Lucky was in the middle of the street at the intersection of Central Avenue and 112th Street on Monday, January 6. Then at least two vehicles struck.
Investigators stated that the force of the first impact was strong enough to remove Lucky from his shoes.
Investigators said evidence from the scene shows that at least one other driver hit Lucky and kept on driving.
Paramedics attempted to save Lucky. However, he died from his injuries at the scene.
The first driver who first struck the man returned to the crash site and cooperated with the police. That driver has not been arrested.
Authorities are still in the process of trying to identify everyone involved in the incident.
