33-Year-Old Micaela Parker Dies after Crashes into Building on Highway 531
LAKE GOODWIN, WA (November 16, 2019) – Authorities identified 33-year-old Micaela Parker of Stanwood as the woman killed in a crash on Highway 531, early Saturday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened at about 1:42 AM. An eastbound red 2009 Toyota Rav4 failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway. Then, the vehicle went down an embankment, hit a fence, and slammed into a building near Lake Ki.
Emergency responders pronounced Parker, who was not secured in a seat belt, dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported by the authorities.
The WSP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
