69-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Hockett Street near Locust Avenue
PORTERVILLE, CA (November 13, 2019) – A 69-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Hockett Street, Wednesday evening.
According to the Porterville Police Department, the incident happened at about 7:44 PM. The victim attempted to cross the road when a westbound GMC Sierra struck him near Locust Avenue.
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the woman driving the GMC remained and cooperated with investigators.
