Passenger Dies after T-Bone Crash on Auburn Way South near Dogwood Street Southeast
AUBURN, WA (November 15, 2019) – A man lost his life in a T-bone car accident on Auburn Way South, Friday afternoon.
According to the Auburn Police Department, the incident happened shortly after noon. An eastbound car attempted to turn onto Dogwood Street Southeast. There, a westbound pickup truck collided with the car.
Emergency responders pronounced the passenger in the car dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized.
An ambulance also transported the pickup truck driver to a hospital as a precaution.
The Auburn Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
