Two LAPD Officers Injured after DUI Crash on Magnolia Boulevard near Tujunga Avenue
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (December 2, 2019) – Two LAPD officers suffered injuries in a DUI Crash on Magnolia Boulevard, early Monday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at about 1:09 AM. The officers responded to a call when their patrol car was hit by a Chevy Silverado that ran a red light.
Emergency responders rushed the officers to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Daniel Mediola, complained of pain but did not require hospitalization. Authorities later arrested Mediola on suspicion of DUI on $100,000 bail.
LAPD police officers continue to investigate the cause of the collision. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
